Movie Matinee: The Help

Set in Mississippi during the 1960s, Skeeter is a southern girl who returns from college determined to become a writer, but turns her friends’ lives upside down when she interviews the black women who have taken care of all the prominent southern families. Aibileen, Skeeter’s best friend’s housekeeper, is the first to open up and share her peace. Throughout this story, unlikely friendships are made. Movie snacks will be provided.
